While out playing in the snow yesterday (also see the Snow Days scrapbook) the kids had a blast making snow angels. It cracked us up how they would just fall back right into the snow - especially Emily. Both of their little arms and legs would move so fast. They also insisted on helping Daddy shovel. Of course we only had one kid-sized shovel, so just like last year, Emily asked to use the Mr. Clean mop - whatever works. They finalized admitted to being cold and we came back inside to thaw out. They watched the snow fall all day!

Rock, paper, scissors
We went to dinner tonight and this is how the kids entertained themselves while waiting for their food - a good old fashioned game, that apparently they are just learning how to play!

Hey pretty ...
Jacob has started these funny little sayings that now have expanded and really have us laughing. It started one night at bedtime and he said, real quiet, "Hey pretty mama!" and then made this little clicking sound and pointed his hands at me while he said it. It caught me so off guard that I cracked up laughing. Emily soon caught on and wanted to join in on all of the fun. She has now perfected the clicking noise and hand point as well, compliments of her big brother. Sometimes they change the saying to "Hey handsome Daddy" or anything else they find funny. Here is a video of each of them that I just had to capture where they both are showing off their new "tricks!"
