The Grinch/night in downtown

The Taylor family had a night out on the town tonight in downtown Cincy.  We ate at a restaurant on Fountain Square, posed by the foundation and took in a show at the Arnoff - The Grinch.  It was a great show and we loved it. #thegrinch - inside joke!

Happy Turkey Day!

This year we spent Turkey Day with Mom's side of the family.  I made my very own pumpkin pie from scratch - yum!  The kids made some really cute cards.  One one even from a turkey who didn't want to be cooked!  We truly have so much to be thankful for.  We have God to thank for it all.

Fooling around

Pretty puppers

Such a sweet and agreeable (most of the time) little puppy we have.  Emily loves to cover Miley up with her blanket and share Romeo with her.

Game night House party

I got the opportunity to receive a whole box of board games and host a House Party.  We invited some friends from church over and had ourselves a game night.  It was a lot of fun and we had a lot of laughs for sure.

Learning lots of lessons

Emily is learning a lot at school this year.  She took a particular interest in the Wright brothers and really delved into learning all about them for her project.  She is also learning how to help those more in need and how to collect and give.  So proud of her in so many areas of her life.

Future makeup artist?

I finally gave in and let Emily play in my makeup.  She did pretty well, maybe she has a future as a makeup artist.  For now, we'll just say she's aspiring!

Cousin buds

Jacob loves all of his cousins, always has.  He particularly loves when they are babies and he can hold them on his lap.  He would've been a great older brother if we had another baby.  Almost makes me wish we had, almost...

Driveway art

Emily is quite the little artist and today she showed us her chalk skills.  We love how she depicts us and our family's love for all to see on the driveway.

Old/new glasses

Jacob got some new specs.  The better to see and vote with!

Hillsboro fall gospel meeting

Daddy held a meeting at Hillsboro this week.  I also love to see my preacher man in his suits - so handsome.  We had quite a drive each way, long enough for Emily to snooze the drive away.  Always great to spread God's message to those in other areas.

Last day of fall sports

To celebrate the last day of fall sports the kids sports their breast cancer support face wear.  They both had great seasons this fall and we loved watching them and cheering them on.  On to winter sports...

Mother's luncheon

Today was the Mother's Day luncheon at the kids school.  I got to eat with both of them and share some special child/Mommy time with them in their own environments.  Always a neat day.
