Trick or treat 2013

This year for Halloween we had Monster High's, Ghoulia, and Batman.  They got to visit with Thing 1 and Thing 2 from Dr. Seuss.  They tried to scare us with their costumes and their pointy teeth but we couldn't be tricked into being scared, we know they are sweet, just like all the candy they got.

Nephews are a growin!

The little twins are growing like crazy and learning to sit up and play with their toys.  They are absolutely precious.

Tuesday visits

Megan and the babies were at Grandma's house today so since they were so close we went over for a visit.  Here I am holding Wyatt - he looks so peaceful with his kids up by his face.  Later in the day we went to visit Kings Island.  We rode a lot of rides and had a fun night.  Always lots of laughs on the kids, especially the Scrambler!

Cousin love

Our kids are in love with their new cousins.  I honestly think Jacob would sit and hold the babies all day if he could.  It's so sweet to watch.  Emily loves to hold them and then pass them off to me so she can play with Klo-E!  

Baby snuggle time

I went to the hospital this afternoon to visit with Megan, Steve and our new nephews.  They are absolutely adorable!!  I got to snuggle with both of them for a long time and loved every minute of it.  We went to visit them a little a few days after they got home and their cousins loved holding them too!

Welcome to Owen & Wyatt

We woke up this morning to great news that the twins had arrived, all on their own schedule.  Megan was set to have a c-section tomorrow but the little firecrackers wanted to be born on the 4th of July.  We went to visit them in the hospital and they are just precious!  The kids immediately became enamored with the both of them.  Jacob finally got to touch them as he would never touch Megan's belly while she was pregnant!  We're so glad you're here boys!

Celebration for the Doctor!

Megan recently completed her Doctorate degree in PT!  We are so proud of her and went out tonight to get ice cream to celebrate.  She has worked hard throughout her pregnancy to get finished before the babies get here and she got it done!  Those boys have one smart mommy!

Friendship bread

Megan gave me a bag of liquid with directions to make friendship bread.  Unfortunately I didn't follow the directions correctly with the first batch.  She gave me a 2nd bag and I did much better the this time around.  Baking day was here and I made my bread - pumpkin!  It was yummy and make me think of fall.  I took my bags into people at work and passed it on.

The twins are coming, the twins are coming!

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Megan and Steve's twin boys.  We can't wait for them to get here.  We are celebrating by going to lots of baby showers.  First we went to one at Steve's Mom's house.  Then we went to the church shower that Elaine and I gave for Megan.  They are certainly getting lots of nice gifts.  Those boys aren't going to be lacking for anything!
