Outdoor movie night
We happened to see an advertisement for a free movie night at Prasco Park sponsored by Chickfila. We got free sandwiches, ice cream and giveaways. They we sat in our seats on the ball field and watched Cars on the screen in the outfield. What a fun summer night.

Meal prep
In an attempt to be more organized at dinner I decided to marinate meat and put it the bags to freeze and then thaw out in the slow cooker. Oh to be organized and have time to meal plan - one of these days ...

Reds free tickets/batting practice ball/autograph
Due to one game earlier this year where we had some poor seats we had ended up with a set of free tickets in prime foul ball area. The kids collaborated to make a Billy Hamilton sign. We got there early enough that the kids got to go down for batting practice. Emily got her little helmet signed by Todd Frazier and Jacob got a ball tossed up to him from the field. It was a great ending to our last game of the season.

HUMP DAAAY
This commercial is all the rage right now and it is hilarious to hear the kids say it each Wednesday. Wonder how long this craze will last?!?!

Flag football games begin
And so it begins - another season of Upward flag football. Jacob was so excited to get out there on the field and run around with his team. We're looking forward to all of the touchdown dances he's promised us.

Last swim class
They did it! The kids survived their private swim lessons with Miss Kathy. They learned a lot - tons of strokes and how to swim, but most importantly how to be safe and not scared when they are in the water.

Diamond seats
Daddy and Jacob got to go with Papaw and Tom to the Reds game and sit in the Diamond Seats! (And don't tell anyone, but Jacob even got out of school early to go to this once in a lifetime experience!) He got to experience the fantastic view of the game up close and all of the wonderful food that was included free with the tickets. Jacob waved to Choo and Mesaroco and they acknowledged him back. He walked down to the front row and when we watched the game on tv we could see him standing there waving - pretty cute. So neat to make memories with the Taylor men.
