Emily's soccer season - 3rd goal scored this game

Here is some of our girl playing soccer. She has very natural athletic ability. She seems to know instinctively which way to go on the field, which goal she's heading towards, when to turn the ball around, etc. She's already scored 3 goals this season. She's so much fun to watch!

A girl that we worship with is quite a talented singer/guitar player and she put on a show/free benefit concert tonight. It was such a beautiful night to sit outside and take in the music. We had a great time!

Jacob & Emily's 1st soccer games (E's 1st ever!)

Let the soccer season begin! Two games today, starting 15 minutes apart on different fields. Such is the life of having two kids playing sports the same season! Mommy & Daddy have worked out an alternating plan to see both kids games. Emily did great and scored two goals her very first game! Jacob played goalie one quarter and was awesome. He stopped numerous shots on goal, one was even a penalty kick! It is so much fun watching both of them play, progress and most of all having fun!

Red's game

Earlier this year Scott's parents took us to a game with great seats and entrance into the 4192 Club. We got to eat all the great food but we never made it to our seats due to several hours of rain. They got tickets again and we went - made it to the seats this time, they were great. We also had the great food again. It was a great evening and wonderful company.

We were waiting in line to go into the Red's game on a bobblehead night. The kids were tired of standing and they sat down on a concrete wall. A photographer from the Cincinnati Enquirer was walking around and asked who the parents were of these kids. Scott and I spoke up and he asked if he could get a family picture for the paper. Sure, why not! He took two - one that didn't make it, a normal family picture. The link below is for the one that did - a fake family cheer! Still cute!
