Grandparent's day
We sent this picture to our grandparents to wish them a happy grandparent's day. Our kids are so blessed to have such wonderful grandparents in their lives. Especially since they spoil them rotten!

Emily - 1st day of soccer season
This little cute patootie started playing fall soccer today. She looks so cute with her little soccer socks and pigtails blowing in the breeze as she runs up and down the field. Here's to a great season and lots of goals.

Joe Morgan weekend
What a fun game at the ballpark. It was Joe Morgan weekend and the Big Red machine was there. It was neat to see all of the great players out on the field. The kids enjoyed their favorites - nachos and cotton candy.

Just because
It goes without saying that I have the best husband ever. He has a romantic streak and got me these beautiful flowers, just because. Kids - always remember to show your spouse that you love them!

Art station
We decided to surprise Emily with her very own place to get her craft on - her very own art station. She was so happy with it. We can't wait to see what kind of creations she'll come up with!
K.I.
Another fun day at K.I. And they are big enough to ride the treehouse ride by themselves, which Mom and Dad are super happy about!

6th & 3rd grades
Summer has officially ended and back to school time has arrived. Emily was outwardly excited while Jacob was inwardly. Today they start 6th and 3rd grades respectively. I had them take our annual "hold up your fingers" picture as well as with some cute signs I found on a blog. I also got the annual new shoes pictures. Emily's are fairly new and still really white while Jacob's shoes are still in pretty good shape and actually still fit from the end of last school year. I gave Emily a fancy new do for her first day. Daddy and I drove them to school together and waved goodbye and they were off. They are ready for a new year full of fun and learning. We can't wait to see what this new year will bring.
