American Girl trip

Another special little outing for Emily's birthday - a trip to the American Girl doll store in Columbus.  Emily took Annabelle with us and she got to go to the salon and get her hair styled - Annabelle, not Emily!  It was such a neat day watching Emily have this experience and seeing it all through a child's eye.  Such pure excitement and joy.  When we ate lunch afterwards the doll even got her own little seat and got to dine with us.  Truly a wonderful experience and one we know she'll remember for a long time.

Family Christmas pictures

We were all dressed up for church so we took this opportunity to pose our dressed up selves by the tree and snap some picts.  Gotta love when everyone indulges Mom and her camera!

Christmas with the extended Taylor family

We had our family Christmas with the Taylors a few days before Christmas while Tonya's family was able to be in town.  We had a great meal, opened lots of wonderful presents and had a great time being together.  

Holiday baking & visit with Santa

Christmas is getting closer and two of our must do's are holiday baking and a visit with Santa.  Today the kids made pretzel candy for their teacher gifts.  We also went to visit with Santa.  Such a fun filled holiday night.

Haircut with Santa

So today I was getting my haircut and no joke Santa, fully decked out in his Santa gear from head to toe, was getting his hair cute in the chair next to mine.  Not everyday that you get to be in the salon with Santa!  He does have that long beard to care for!

Frozen birthday

Emily wanted to go see Frozen for her birthday outing this year.  The theater didn't have Frozen cut outs to stand behind so she found this Lego Movie set to pose with.  Frozen was a great movie and we loved it - even if Daddy thought it was a snowman movie and not a princess movie.  I'm sure we'll laugh about that one for a long time to come!
