Jacob's 1st day of 3rd grade

3rd grade already??? I think I'm going to ask myself this every year (about both kids).  He wasn't quite ready for the summer to be over, but what kid really is?  We met his teachers at open house - both of which were very nice.  This is the first year he has what are called "switch" teachers - one to teach reading, word work, spelling, etc., the other to teach math, science and social studies.  After going to open house he all of the sudden became excited about the school year.  It's going to be great!
