Us pale folks needed a break from the hot sun, so we decided to pace ourselves and thought we'd start the day at Baytowne Wharf instead of heading out to the beach right away. We ate at our fav breakfast spot - Broken Egg Cafe. The food is so yummy, the coffee is delicious and Emily found the best chocolate milk ever! Who said you can't have a "milkshake" for breakfast?! We stopped at the giant beach chairs and got some more annual pictures. We walked around the wharf and went to all of our favorite spots. Then we went back to the room and relaxed. Emily and I enjoyed some time reading our books out on the balcony while being able to see the ocean. In the evening we ate dinner at Dewey Destin - the best fish of the week. So glad we tried a new place. Then we went on a dolphin cruise on the Seablaster. It went really fast! We got to see lots of dolphins and go out in the gulf to experience the big waves. The kids even got to drive the boat. It was an awesome day.
